Yep, yesterday our landscape was brown and green. Today, 10 to 12 inches of new fallen snow covers everything! I plowed us out, did chores at both ends of the day and sat and read the newest Rural Heritage magazine. I almost felt guilty….but all I had to do was look outside!
Did we get that much??!!
That’s the only thing I enjoy about winter. I get to rest & relax sometimes without feeling guilty. Rest up for the season ahead!
We got plenty. It also blows from the fields and piles up around the farmstead buildings. Its just part of winter, but its a job best not to put off…snow plowing that is. You are right, I’m resting up for the upcoming maple season!
