The first day of Spring finds us a bit chilly. Even the flowers don’t seem to be impressed! The warm days will be back. It’s Ohio, just wait a day or so!

Abby and Amee pulled the sled while we started the job of untapping the trees. It was a cold, muddy, breezy day. We got about half done and will finish later today.

Our grandchildren worked hard in the frigid weather and did a great job!

Until next year, we say farewell to the maple process. We are fully involved in the clean up process. All the equipment gets disassembled, cleaned and dried before storing for next year. Once that job has been completed, its all hands on deck as we work to fill the woodshed for 2025.
