We finally had a few very nice days where the sun shone and the rains held off. We had family in for Mother’s Day weekend. Our daughter Lisa caught these photos from around the farm.
Usually by now, we are enjoying the excitement of newborn foals. This year our babies are coming a bit later. They should be here any day, but we just have to wait…and boy is it hard!
Two of our very expectant mothers walking out to the pasture. I am hoping a little green grass and a change of venue might invite the babies to come meet us. Amee, in the lead and Rosie taking up the rear are both very ready to welcome their 2025 additions.
So, maybe in the next few hours we will have good news to report. All the regular signs that a baby horse is coming within hours are present. Now, we just wait on the Lord and the little varmints to join us on their birthday!
