Sap bags hanging … ready to go!

     The sap ran good yesterday and continued to run today despite the cloudy day. The bags are filling fast and the excitement around here is growing. The week ahead weather looks good, so here we go!

 

     My son told me today that he likes this part of farming, no feeding and no manure to pitch. I just laughed. The real work is just getting started, we shall see how easy it is, once we get rolling 😮

 

     I worked on a few last-minute things in the sugarhouse again today. I managed to complete a few tasks and only a couple of things remain. I guess I pushed it right to the last minute. I’m not sure that makes me a “sap” …… but I am sure running!
