Yesterday we had a lot of things going on here. I spent time with several friends. We accomplished much. The weather was winterlike, cold and breezy. We worked inside the washhouse and have it close to completion.
Today was interrupted by meetings and errands, but still I managed to cross a few things off my list. I spent a few minutes thinking about the people who impact my life. It was good to think about friends and family and have so many to be thankful for.
I look forward to the day when I am no longer in supervision. I can take down the “wall” that prevents me from being a better friend to quite a few people at my off farm job. It is a mixed bag and I sure do appreciate the ones who like me in spite of my position.
I hope God lets me live long enough to be a friend… I look forward to all the things I have missed … especially being there .. for many folks.
