Happy New Year everybody. I hope your homes were full of fun and family. I wish for all of you a prosperous and healthy New Year.
I hope to lose a little extra weight and work my draft horses more. I think both of these goals are attainable. I am started already working towards that end.
A big winter storm is racing towards us. I spent a good part of the day making ready. Round bales got moved, some firewood got stored and the animals were all given shelter to hunker down. The temperature is supposed to drop and a big snow event threatens to bury us.
Winter is no big deal for us, but I still don’t like dangerous storms. They say warm again by the weekend, but I guess we shall see.
