Welcome Rubee

Our foaling season has started. Welcome to the farm little girl. We named her Riceland Meadows Rubee. Her mom Lakeview Amee approves! She was born last night. Mom and baby doing great.

Like all foals she is a bit wobbly on her legs and feet. She spent 11 months folded up in a tight space. She is getting stronger by the hour.

Her daddy is in the background. He approves of his daughter as well. We think she is a cutie.

This is a wonderful scary time on the farm. We do our very best to take care of our herd. We give all the glory to God for his many blessings as we do our part to save and promote this amazing rare breed of horse.

The calmness in the barn is felt by all. The horse in the foreground is due to foal any day. She munches hay and relaxes in her stall. Our herd sire “Hank” in the background, rests and behaves as he watches over his band. It is a wonderful day. Welcome to the farm Rubee.
