Completed roof on the wash-house

                                                November 7, 2012

After eight days of rain, totalling 7.25 inches, we finally got some weather to work outside. I spent the day last Monday, coughing and putting this roof on. I spent the last two days on medicine and resting inside the house. I got a pretty good case of why you shouldn’t go to work sick… thank you my fellow co-worker , for sharing!

The election has come and gone. No matter where you stand on the issues, it is good to see freedom at work. I hope the leaders will all realize that it is America’s agenda they should work on and not their own…. nuff said.

The weatherman says that Indian summer is here. I sort of believe it, because we did have some snowflakes Sunday and again on Monday. I only hope I can accomplish my tasks, set aside for a few more good days of nice weather. I looked outside much of today, as the sun shinned on the farm, pausing often to once again thank my inconsiderate co-worker.

I think I will spend the next couple of days celebrating the roof while I rid my body of sickness. I am thinking that if I don’t find a happy spot, the bitterness over getting sick for no reason might shade my mood 😮 … and we sure don’t want that!
